Argoed Hall is located just outside Llangollen in the village of Froncysyllte. Argoed Hall was commissioned to be built in 1840 by a local aristocrat. Situated in an elevated position overlooking the river Dee, the building was sited to take advantage of the south facing views down the valley to Dinas Castle. Argoed Hall sits within some 3 acres of grounds, which are designated historical, and consist of large lawns, a sunken garden, massive fir and each trees and woodlands.
Llangollen is a truly amazing town, encapsulating the best North Wales has to offer in a small area. With more sun than Cornwall and less rain than the Lake District.
